Group metalsmithing and jewelry-making classes taught by master metalsmith, Shalena White at the Jeweler’s Saw in Austin, Texas

  • Jewelry Techniques 1: May

    This six-session course teaches jewelry-making foundations through two projects: a spinner ring and a bezel-set cabochon ring or pendant. Techniques covered include sawing, soldering, texturing, fabrication, and polishing. No metalsmithing experience is required.

  • Jewelry Techniques 2: April

    This course builds upon foundational skills from Jewelry Techniques 1 (or equivalent) and introduces intermediate metalsmithing techniques. Students will learn and apply methods such as sweat soldering, working with mixed metals, granulation, texturing through roller printing and stamping, prong and tab settings, and professional polishing.

  • Jewelry Techniques 2: May
